I made several guitar tube amps by the past and i actually have a new project in mind so let’s talk about amps…

Making a guitar tube amp is a great experience but before starting this kind of DIY project please read this:
High Voltage
Tube amplifiers have lethal voltages that are present even after power is removed. You must exercise extreme caution when working with high voltages !!!
Safety Rules
First of all you must learn about the safety rules when working with high voltages.
Knowledge
Even if you’re not an amp builder or electronics technician you need to be able to use a multimeter with a good understanding on what you are reading on it, being able to read and understand schematics, being good at soldering is highly recommended.
Tools
At least a multimeter, a soldering iron, cutting and drilling tools.
Tube amp kits
If it’s your first build, consider ordering a tube amp kit like those found at Weber Speakers, a Tweed Champ 5F1 kit is a great start and a great sounding amp, quite easy to build if you follow the provided informations, plus you will get all the parts needed at the same time and you can still upgrade you amp later on.
